Stories and thoughts from day to day life in the Bullard Family

About February 1, 2011

Welcome to my blog! I’m Erin and Parentsong is my way of communicating with the outside world. Here, I share what is going on with us in various stages of parenting. I love to read non-fiction relevant to where I am putting my energy, so you’ll find book reviews here and there.

My husband and I love to sing- we met in a choir. I’m also a classically trained musician and a rusty pianist. We use music in many ways to enhance our daily life at home. My goal is to share the songs and musical things we do here at home, but that is easier said than done.

I am enjoying being a stay-at-home mom with my stay-at-home husband and stay-at-home daughter and son. When I’m not doing parent-related things, I put on my music therapist hat. I love this hat, too! Sometimes I wear it home and forget to take it off.

Happy reading!

Ok Erin, Enjoy using the Blog to document your walk into multitasking parenting. I wonder if you can save this for the future like your book. Will this be available 30 years or more from now? I love you, Dad

  2. Hello Erin. I found your blog via Elissa Milne’s site. I am intrigued that your family name is Bullard. I was born a Bullard (in England). It is a very unusual surname, except in East Anglia, where it is more common, so I am always interested when I come across another Bullard. Best wishes, and happy parenting! FRAN

Well, I am a Bullard by marriage and my husband is English- so how do you like that!? He comes from Nottingham. The Bullards in America are mostly African American, so we probably have no relation to them. To you? Might be a link… Thanks for stopping by! I’ll have to return the visit 🙂
